I too have suffered nasal congestion for years. I haven’t been to an ENT because i don’t want drugs or surgery and that’s all they offer. I have noticed that if i consume an alcoholic beverage (even just a sip), my nasal & sinus congestion gets even worse. It also worsens with any sugary foods. I presume my congestion is fungal in nature since fungus thrives with sugar, and alcohol is a type of sugar. I have no idea why Frank (above) would feel better after consuming alcohol the next day, but i’m interested in trying a taste to see if it affects me the same way. I do feel some relief with a homeopathic sublingual liquid (for allergies) that consists mostly of alcohol. . but the relief is only temporary. I’m very interested in trying the TTO, castor oil, garlic etc.
